Ripples of Healing ("we", "us", or "our") provides live stream yoga and healing movement classes. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights — in plain English.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Billing information — payment details processed securely by Stripe. We never store full card numbers.
Class participation — which classes you attend, booking history, and attendance streaks.
Communications — emails or messages you send us, and support requests.
Usage data — how you interact with our website, pages visited, and session activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide access to live and scheduled classes via Zoom.
Process your membership subscription and send receipts.
Send class reminders, schedule updates, and service announcements.
Respond to your questions and support requests.
Improve our platform and class offerings.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

3. Zoom and Live Classes

Our live classes are conducted via Zoom. When you join a class, Zoom's own privacy policy applies to data processed by their platform. You may choose to turn your camera off at any time — your instructor will still guide you through the class.

Classes may be recorded for members who miss a session. By joining a class with your camera on, you consent to potentially appearing in a class recording accessible to other members of that session.

4. Information Sharing

We share data only in these limited circumstances:

Stripe — to process payments. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.
Zoom — to deliver live classes.
Firebase (Google) — to manage your account and authentication.
Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your membership is active. After cancellation, we delete your personal data within 60 days, except where we're legally required to retain it longer (e.g., billing records).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security including TLS encryption in transit, Firebase authentication, and Stripe for secure payment processing. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@ripplesofhealing.com.

7. Your Rights

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
Deletion — request we delete your account and personal data.
Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

Right to Know — request disclosure of the personal information we've collected about you in the past 12 months.
Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale — we do not sell personal information. You do not need to opt out.
Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
